How to keep your VooPoo units software updated

Step by step

1.

First step is to visit VooPoo’s support site on their own website. You can get to the page quickly by

clicking this link: https://www.voopoo.com/software.html#service

Once you have entered the VooPoo support site, you will need to pick the model that you want updated.

Hover your mouse over the specific model and click on Software.

After you click on Software, a box with various types of downloads will appear..

Begin downloading the Configuration software.

Once the configuration download has been completed, you will need to download the newest

version of software for your model. You will find the download button right above the button for

the Configuration download.

When you have downloaded the latest software version for you model, you need to open the

configuration program that you downloaded prior to the software update for the specific unit.

Once the configuration program has opened, the next step will be to connect your VooPoo-unit to

your computer. This is done by plugging in the cable (that followed with your package when you

first bought your unit) into your computer.

Make sure the arrow on the cable points upwards when you plug it into the computer. If this is not done properly, it the connection won’t be successful.

When your unit is connected to your computer, it will be a good idea to click on Device in the upper

left corner – this to ensure and doublecheck that your device is properly connected and accessible.

Does the configuration program show your unit as shown in the example above, is the next step to

press Upgrade, which can be found just below the device button.

After you press Upgrade, you will need to click on Choose in the upper right corner. Choose the file

that you downloaded for your specific VooPoo-model.

12.

When you have chosen your file for your VooPoo-unit, click on Download(U) in the upper right

corner – right beside of the Choose button

13.

At this point, your device should be updating to the newest version of the given software

specifically for the unit. When the download is finished it will say [ROM upgrade task] successfully in text box in the bottom of the screen.

14.

Your unit is now updated with the newest software version.
