Solution for Burnt Coil

Modified on Sun, 18 Jun, 2023 at 1:09 PM

Priming the Coil

It is important to prime the coil before use. It is recommended to let it sit for 5 minutes after priming the coil.

Insufficient Liquid in the Tank/Pod

There is less liquid in the tank/pod than recommended. When the liquid level is very low, the coil may not be able to draw enough liquid into the wick, resulting in a burnt coil.

Improper Storage of the Device

To prevent liquid from entering the core of the coil, it is recommended to keep the device upright when not in use. Avoid placing the device horizontally or upside down, especially if the liquid fills 50% or less of the tank/pod.

Incorrect VG/PG Ratio

If the VG ratio in your e-liquid is too high, it can result in poor wicking and lead to a burnt coil.

Wrong Coil Choice

Choosing a coil that has insufficient power for your selected mod can cause the coil to burn. It is recommended to use the same coils that came with the device.
